DENALI PARK, Alaska - A hiker from northeast Georgia, missing since Sunday in Denali National Park in Alaska, has been found he walked into a camp Wednesday afternoon.
Fifty-four-year-old John MacGregor of Jasper was the object of an intensive search effort. He walked into the Toklat Road Camp shortly after noon with hikers he had encountered earlier in the day.
Park officials say MacGregor was cold and tired, but otherwise uninjured.
After recuperating some, MacGregor was to be taken to park headquarters where rangers will question him about what occurred after he left the Eielson Visitor Center on Sunday morning.
MacGregor was last seen heading up a trail. He was reported missing on Monday.
