Democrats Try To Hide Under-the-Radar Tax Increases

If I remember correctly, President Obama said there would be no tax increases for people earning less than $250,000 a year. Lately, Democrats running for office down here where the votes are cast, have been hedging...after Obama's czars admitted most small business owners would be hit hard, and they are the very people who traditionally create 60-percent of all new jobs.

Democrats stand firm on ending the Bush tax cuts, a back door way to raise taxes. But now they realize these so-called wealthy people are the very ones who take the risks and put that money back into the capitalist system to create the new jobs. And now we-the-people have to look out for tax increases being slipped through under the radar.

The Post Office has already announced an increase in first class stamps, effective in January (after the election, you will notice). And the Medicare czar has announced a "modest" increase in premiums for Medicare prescription drugs. It is ONLY about 3 percent, he said. Then he waffled, saying it might be higher than that for some people. And when pressed, he agreed some of us would get "sticker shock." Here in Georgia, Roy Obama-Barnes, who now claims to be the great friend of educators, says he supports everything Democratic...but have you noticed he is trying to hide from Obama? One thing I can tell you for sure about this year's crop of Democrats: anywhere they get in power, the taxes will go up.

This is Gordon Sawyer, and may the wind always be at your back.
