GAINESVILLE-The Longstreet Clinic, P.C., is pleased to welcome Charlie DeCook, M.D., to the Department of Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. He joins the practice of Harry Ferran, M.D., Michael Gottsman, M.D., Derek Moore, M.D., and Barry Munn, M.D.
Dr. DeCook received his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago. He completed residencies in both orthopaedic surgery and family medicine at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston Salem, N.C. He also completed his adult reconstruction fellowship at Anderson Clinic in Alexandria, Va.
Dr. DeCook is fellowship trained in total joint replacement and specializes in anterior approach hip replacement, patient-specific knee replacement and partial knee replacement. He is board certified in family medicine and board eligible in orthopaedic surgery. He also is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
