Sex crimes crackdown continues

GAINESVILLE - Vice officers continued a crackdown on sex-related crimes in Hall County Monday with the arrests of two women on prostitution-related charges.

That brings to more than a dozen the number of such arrests since July 23.

Charlotte Elizabeth Gaydon, 45, of Dawsonville was charged with prostitutes and Elizabeth Danyell Carruth, 35, Gainesville, was charged with pimping. Lt. Scott Ware of the Gainesville-Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad (MANS) says they were arrested at #32 Georgia Avenue after agreeing to take $20 from an undercover officer in exchange for sex.

The others involved men propositioning either undcover male officers or undercover female officers.
