GAINESVILLE - A Gainesville man and one from Atlanta have been arrested in separate incidents at the same address that resulted in the confiscation of two pounds of marijuana.<br />

Hall County drug agents charged 25-year-old Jared Tim Reed of Athens Highway and 27-year-old Yancey Martin Edwards of Atlanta with possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.<br />

Lt. Scott Ware of the Gainesville-Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad (MANS) says Edwards was arrested as he delivered about a pound of pot to a location in the 2400 block of Athens Highway. <br />
<br />
Reed, according to Lt. Ware, was picked up at his residence in the 2400 block of Athens Highway and was found to be in possession of over one pound of marijuana, a small amount of methamphetamine, as well as packaging materials.
