Winder woman victim of Friday wreck

WINDER - The victim of a Friday afternoon crash in Barrow County has been identified as 40-year-old Karen Shockley of Winder.

The Georgia State Patrol said Shockley turned left in front of a pick-up truck on Atlanta Highway at Ed Hogan Road in Winder just before 3:00 p.m. Friday. Initial reports indicated that the truck ran a red light at the intersection in front of the Winder Wal-Mart store.

Troopers said charges are pending in the fatal accident.
