UGA football season opener will be televised

ATHENS -- The Saturday, Sept. 4, SEC football game between Georgia and the University of Louisiana-Lafayette in Athens will be televised by the SEC Network with kickoff set for 12:21 p.m.

Previously announced early season Georgia games included South Carolina in Columbia (Sept. 11) and Arkansas in Athens (Sept. 18), both at noon on either ESPN or ESPN2. The Oct. 30 Georgia-Florida game in Jacksonville will be televised by CBS at 3:30 p.m.
