MARIETTA - A fire official says eight people were injured - one critically - after falling 10 feet from a deck that collapsed in Marietta Sunday night. <br />

Cobb County Fire Department spokesman Daniel Dupree says the deck pulled away from a wall, landing in a yard.<br />

Dupree says five people were transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital and one person with a head injury was taken to a separate hospital. <br />
<br />
He says seven of the injuries are not critical. <br />
