GAINESVILLE - Funeral services will be held Tuesday for Dr. Calvin Allen of Gainesville.
Dr. Allen - who died at his home following an extended illness - was the founder of Anesthesia Associates of Gainesville and served as Chief of Anesthesia at the Hall County Hospital which is now Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Dr. Allen, who was 85, was also a member of the Gainesville Junior College Board of Trustees, now Gainesville State College, and a member of the Board of Directors of Citizens Bank, now Bank of America.
The funeral will be at 10:00 Tuesday in the chapel of First Baptist Church on Green Street.
