CUMMING - The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the planning director for Forsyth County has been placed on leave while officials review the appropriateness of some of his e-mail.
The newspaper says Jeff Chance was put on administrative leave with pay May 12. It says the messages include vulgar language and photos of naked women.
Chance told the newspaper that the pictures and offensive jokes were sent to him by employees and that while he had verbally warned some of them, he had not stopped the practice.
The newspaper says the county commission will review the results of the investigation.
