2 nominated for Habersham Co. judgeship

ATLANTA - Two men have been nominated for a State Court judgeship vacancy in Habersham County.

Steven Campbell is State Court Solicitor in Habersham and Drew Powell is a public defender in the Mountain Judicial Circuit.

The vacancy was created by the appointment of Judge Linton K. Crawford to a vacant Superior Court judgeship in the Mountain Judicial Circuit.

The nominations were released Friday by the state Judicial Qualifications Commission. Gov. Perdue will make the final decision on who will succeed Judge Crawford.
