BRASELTON - At a time when some such educational institutions are barely able to stay open or are closing because of the recession, a new church-affiliated school is planned in northeast Georgia.
It will consist of grades 1-12 and be located in Braselton.
Zion Baptist Church will go before the Braselton Planning Commission June 28 for a "conditional use approval" for a site on Cherry Drive - the old Mitsubishi plant location - which houses the church.
