GAINESVILLE - A buglary suspect who eluded a two-hour manhunt in Chestnut Mountain Wednesday night, is now in custody.

Col. Jeff Strickland of the Hall County Police department says it began with a traffic stop at approximately 6PM yesterday. He says the driver fled on foot into a wooded area.

The Hall County Sheriff's Office took 42 year old Kevin R. Bagwell into custody just before lunch today on Garner Road in Braselton.

He was wanted in Hall, Gwinnett, Jackson, and Barrow Counties on various State and Superior Court Probation Warrants and is also a burglary suspect.

He is currently being held without bond in the Hall County Jail.
