GAINESVILLE - The Gainesville City Council reached a consensus Thursday on developing plans to build a water treatment facility at Cedar Creek.
"We need to move forward on the design of the Cedar Creek treatment facility," councilman Danny Dunagan said, "in case the judge's ruling comes to pass."

The city and county have been at an impasse for months over development of the Cedar Creek Reservoir.
