Car rear-ends school bus

GAINESVILLE - There are no reports of injuries among the 16 students on a Hall County school bus that was involved in a traffic accident Thursday morning.

School system spokesman Gordon Higgins says it happened shortly after 7:00 on Georgia Highway 52 near Gillsville Highway.

Higgins says the students were transferred to another bus to continue their trip to Lula Elementary School.

He says none of the students were injured but as a precaution they were told that if they felt any ill effects that might be associated with the accident to see the school nurse.
