Ethics complaint lodged against Oliver, Powell

GAINESVILLE - A group of citizens has formally complained to the governor's office against two members of the Hall County Commission.

The targets of the complaint are Chairman Tom Oliver and Commissioner Billy Powell.

Joe Schuebert has been putting his case together for several weeks. (See earlier story.)

Schuebert said Thursday morning that as far as he knows, no timeline has been established for consideration of the ethics complaint by the governor's office.
