MURRAYVILLE - North Hall rallied from an early deficit to beat Lumpkin County 16-4 Friday in Region 7A-AAA baseball action.
The Trojans (9-8, 6-5 in subregion) snapped a two-game losing streak with the victory.
Lumpkin jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning but North Hall scored eight unanswered runs in the first and second innings to take the lead for good.
The Indians cut the lead to 8-4 in the fifth but North Hall closed out the game with six runs in the final two innings to put the game away.
Lee Sisson paced the offense with three doubles. Jackson Coker, Chris Stevens, Jacob Brewster, and Ryan Pitts each had two hits for the Trojans. Whit Bowen, Holden Kellar, and Hamilton Harper had one hit each for North Hall.
Stevens got the win giving up seven hits and fanning five in a complete-game effort.
