ATLANTA -- Georgia State has cleared another first on its path toward its inaugural 2010 football season.
Coach Bill Curry directed the program's first spring practice session on Tuesday.
Georgia State has 72 players, including six 2010 signees, for its 15 days of spring practice.
Curry praised the play of one of the newcomers, Kalan Jenkins, a tight end who transferred from Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas.
The Panthers will hold their first spring scrimmage on April 10 at the Georgia Dome.
