The Johnson girls tennis team took a 4-1 win over Forsyth Central Monday.
The Knights earned the victory on the strength of sweeping the doubles action.
In the doubles, Claire Crain and Harlee Robson whipped Janet Rehm and Brittany Hester 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1 and the No. 2 team of Lauren Houston and Carlyn Ivey beat Jennifer Player and Jesse Hamlin 6-1, 6-1.
In singles, Johnson's Cady Nix whipped Kara Duncan 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 and Maggie Turner knocked off Holly Hamlin 6-4, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.
Forsyth Central's only win cam at No. 2 singles with Keegan English beating Johnson's Kamy Field 6-2, 6-1.
