ATLANTA -- A former Georgia Tech cornerback was charged with terroristic threats and aggravated assault.
WSB-TV reports that Reuben Houston surrendered Friday to the Cobb County Jail on outstanding warrants for terroristic threats, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Houston, who started two years with a career seven interceptions at Georgia Tech, was sentenced in 2006 to charges of conspiracy and attempt to distribute 92 pounds of marijuana. He was kicked off the team stemming from the arrest.
Houston, who finished his career with 158 tackles and seven interceptions, signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in 2006 and later released the same year.
