Boys track: Trojans' Wilhoite, McCormack set new school records

LAWRENCEVILLE - Peyton Wilhoite and Ty McCormack had a record-setting day Saturday in the Ice Breaker Invitational at Collins Hill High School.

Peyton took first place in the discus and improved his school-record with a throw of 160-feet, 10-inches. His old record was 159-11 set at the state meet last year.

McCormack took first in the 1,600-meter run with a personal-best of 4:25.37. He finished 2nd in the 3,200 and broke the old school record, set last year in the state meet by Cody Barger, by 12 seconds with a time of 9:19.81.
