OAKWOOD -- West Hall pounded out nine hits, including a grand slam home run, in taking an 11-1, five-inning win over Banks County Friday.
The Spartans (1-3) scored seven runs in the fifth inning to invoke the 10-run Mercy Rule.
Max Everett had three hits and two RBI for West Hall while Chad Goff had two hits, including the grand slam in the fifth inning to spark the big inning. Brandon Grindle had two hits and one RBI for the Spartans.
Jake Shirley earned the win for West Hall allowing no runs.
For banks County, Brett Armour, brian Mathis, and Jay Cohen each had one hit.
