Boys tennis: Lakeview serves up win over Hebron

GAINESVILLE - The Lakeview Academy boys tennis team took a big 4-1 Region 8-A win over Hebron Christian Friday at the Lakeview Courts.

The doubles team of Matt Morris and Alex Klecan at No. 1 and Grant Hocker and Will Kellemeyer both took straight-set victories to seal the win.

Morris and Klecan beat Brandon Finke and Jack Griffin 6-4, 6-4 while Hocker and Kellemeyerwon whipped Robert Hunt & Dino Favara 6-0, 6-2.

In singles, Seth Black beat Evan Haas 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 and Jackson Beck won at No. 3 with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Nick Cannon.

Mike Fowler fell to Stephen Burslem 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1 singles.
