FLOWERY BRANCH -- Gainesville showed its offensive versatility in the second half, as six different players scored during a 16-0 run to pull away from Flowery Branch in a 57-47 win Friday night.
However, it was the Gainesville defense that was the star of the show, holding the Falcons scoreless for over 10 minutes while forcing eight turnovers to spark the decisive run. They also held Hall County leading scorer Ishmael Hollis to just 19 points, including just six free throws and no field goals in the second half.
