SUWANEE -- Flowery Branch finished eighth in the Jared Cook Holiday Tournament at North Gwinnett High School after dropping a heartbreaker to Winder-Barrow, 46-44, Thursday.
The Falcons trailed most of the game but used a 14-8 third quarter to close the gap to 38-35 heading into the fourth quarter.
James Hodges led Flowery Branch with 14 points.
Jamaias Davis and Qua Flanigan had nine points apiece to lead the Bulldoggs.
The Falcons will be back in action when they travel to East Hall on Tuesday.
