5 injured in wreck involving church bus

GAINESVILLE - Five people were injured in the collision between a church bus and another vehicle collided on the southside of Gainesville last night.

Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell said the five were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center but their injuries were not serious.

The Hall County Sheriff's Department says the wreck happened between 6:00-7:00 on West Ridge Road. There were several people on the bus which was from A New Walk, a church on Calvary Church Road.

The accident appeared to a head-on or nearly-head on crash.
