ATLANTA - Atlanta recorded the largest decline in home prices in the country between September and October and one Atlanta real estate agent says he expects the trend to continue.
Prices fell 2.9 percent.
Russ Robinson with ReMax of Greater Atlanta tells the Georgia News Network he thinks the prices will fall even more, but he can't guess how far. Robinson blames the glut of homes on the market that people can't sell and foreclosed homes on the market in the metro area.
The Standard & Poor's/Case-Shiller 20-city home price index released Tuesday fell 1.3 percent in October from September. (See separate story.)
