Two Georgia players help driver after crash

By The Associated Press
ATHENS -- Two Georgia players rushed to the aid of a bus driver after watching the University of Georgia vehicle leave the road and crash into a tree on campus.

Georgia running back Washaun Ealey and linebacker Michael Gilliard were leaving Oglethorpe House dining hall on Wednesday night when they saw the bus skid off the road and hit a tree.

The driver, a female who suffered no serious injuries, was the only person on the bus. Her name was not released.

Ealey says he found a lot of broken glass and says the driver "was pretty shaken up" as they assisted her off the bus.

Coach Mark Richt says the players "did a very good deed ... and I'm proud of them."
