Georgia has first practice for Liberty Bowl

By The Associated Press
ATHENS -- Georgia worked in full pads for an hour and a half on Saturday in its first practice for the Liberty Bowl.

Georgia will not work out again until final exams are finished on Wednesday.

Quarterback Aaron Murray says Saturday's session was "short and sweet" as the Bulldogs began preparing for No. 24 Central Florida.

The team has eight practices scheduled in Athens before gathering in Memphis on Dec. 26 to resume practice for the Dec. 31 game.

The game is a matchup of the nation's highest rated freshmen in passing efficiency, Murray and UCF's Jeff Godfrey.
