GAINESVILLE - The state patrol, Hall County Sheriff's Office and Hall fire department were busy overnight.

The fires were on Navajo Circle and on Terry Street in Oakwood but there were no injuries.

Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell said firefightrers arrived at the Navano Circle call to find a 10x14 storage building fully involved in flames.

"(The) owner was awakened (about 2:00) and called the fire department," Kimbrell said. "Building was a total loss with estimated damage of approximately $15,000
The fire also did extensive damage to a 16-foot camper that was parked very close to the building. Estimated damage to the camper of $10,000."

The Terry Street call came in about 3:30 and was also reported by the property owner.

Chief Kimbrell says arriving units found smoke coming from the house when they arrived.

"Firefighters obtained a quick knockdown and contained the majority of the damage to a bedroom and closet area (but there was) smoke damage to the other parts of the house."

The cause of both fires remains under investigtion.

Also overnight, the state patrol and sheriff's office were busy with an overturned poultry truck in Gillsville. It happened on Georgia Highway 52 and kept the road closed for about three hours. There driver was not injured and the truck was empty.
