Gainesville- The Aesthetic Center of Gainesville and Northeast Georgia Plastic Surgery Associates, P.C. is pleased to announce that D.J. Campbell, M.D. was initiated and became a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
The American College of Surgeons is a scientific and educational organization of surgeons that was founded in 1913 to raise the standards of surgical practice and to improve the care of the surgical patient. The College is dedicated to the ethical and competent practice of surgery.
Dr. Campbell is board certified in the practice of plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery and the American Association of Hand Surgery. A native of Cleveland, GA, Dr. Campbell graduated from White County High School. He is a 1992 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Appalachian State University and a 1999 graduate of Mercer University School of Medicine where he was awarded membership in Alpha Omega Alpha, an honorary society for academic excellence. Dr. Campbell completed his training in plastic surgery at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.
Celebrating its 30-year anniversary, Northeast Georgia Plastic Surgery Associates has become the leader in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery in North Georgia. The practice currently includes four surgeons - Arden L. Hothem, M.D.; Sam Richwine, Jr., M.D.; K. Glen Walton, M.D. and Ed Abell, M.D. - all of whom are members of the distinguished American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Inc and are fellows in The American College of Surgeons.
Located on Sims Street near Northeast Georgia Medical Center, The Aesthetic Center and Northeast Georgia Plastic Surgery Associates facility is an outpatient, state licensed and accredited surgery center. The practice offers an array of plastic surgery, reconstructive and laser procedures and also includes a clinic for skin care and skin resurfacing operated by two experienced skin care specialists
