Some Gwinnett County teachers are asking the Georgia Professional Standards Commission to launch an ethics investigation into whether Superintendent J. Alvin Wilbanks made it appear they were fired "for cause" when he was just trying to cut the budget. Pete Toggerson with the Georgia Assocation of Educators says these teachers say they never got a bad review.
He tells Georgia News Network being fired "for cause" prevents them teachers from getting a new jobs, while being let go because of budget cuts makes it easier for them to be hired with other school districts
