Habersham workers facing more furlough days

CLARKESVILLE - When the new year rolls around, Habersham County employees will be faced with more upaid furlough days.

The county is mandating that its workers take two such days off during the first half of the year. Plans for the second half have not been determined.

January 3 and April 25 have, thusfar, been designated furlough days in Habersham next year, meaning most government offices will be closed those days.
