Obahor is SSAC Offensive Player of the Week

By staff reports
ATLANTA -- The weekly awards from the Southern States Athletic Conference have been announced, and Brenau University senior midfielder Dolapo Obahor (Kaduna, Nigeria) has been selected as Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

Obahor became the first Brenau athlete to receive recognition from the SSAC this season.

Obahor was huge for the Tigers last week when they won two critical games to climb back into contention for the conference tournament. Dola started the week off with a hat trick (three goals) in the Columbia game as Brenau cruised to a 5-0 win and came back with two more scores as the Tigers shut out Brewton Parker 2-0.

She will play the last home game of her career tomorrow night when the Tigers will host Southern Wesleyan at the Allen Creek Soccer Complex with the kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. It will be Greek Night and all fans are encouraged to wear black. There will be tailgating beginning at 6 pm with food and drinks provided by Jimmy Johns.
