Kentucky to face Dogs without standout RB Locke

By The Associated Press
LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Kentucky running back Derrick Locke will miss Saturday's game against Georgia with a shoulder injury.

Coach Joker Phillips said Thursday Locke is still dealing with pain from a pair of shoulder stingers sustained earlier in the season. Phillips is optimistic Locke will be available when the Wildcats (4-3, 1-3 SEC) travel to Mississippi State on Oct. 30.

Locke leads the Wildcats with 574 yards and seven touchdowns this season.

Sophomore Donald Russell will likely start in place of Locke. Russell had 111 total yards in an upset win over South Carolina last week.
