CHAMBLEE -- The Habersham Central girls softball team is making the most of its first-ever trip to the postseason.
The Lady Raiders swept host Chamblee 7-0 and 15-0 Wednesday in the first round of the Class AAAA state softball playoffs on the road.
Habersham continued a trend of dominating pitching. The Lady Raiders have not allowed a run in their last three games and it was their fourth shutout in their last six games.
Habersham (20-8) next will play the winner of the Pope-Creekview matchup next Wednesday.
