NE Ga. man gets prison time in child porn case

SCRANTON, Penn. - A northeast Georgia man has been sent to prison by a Pennsylvania judge in a child porn chase.

53-year-old Scott Swanson of Hiawassee admitted talking a 13-year-old Scranton, Penn., area girl to send him nude photos of herself via the internet.

The Scranton Times-Tribune says Swanson was sentenced to 13 years in federal prison.

The girl was not charged with sending the pictures but was ordered to complete a course offered to alert students of the dangers of misusing cell phones and the Internet.
