UNDATED - If you get into a car accident in Gwinnett County, you can now get a copy of your collision report online.
The Gwinnett County Police Department has recently entered into an agreement with Open Portal Solutions. Earlier this year, Open Portal Solutions entered into a contract with the Georgia DOT and began managing the state's central accident report repository. A portion of this agreement now allows those involved in a collision in Gwinnett County to obtain their accident reports online.
Gwinnett County authorities said to getting a copy of an accident report will cost $6 and can be found at www.buycrash.com.
