PEACHTREE CITY - The return of fall-like weather has brought with it an increased chance of grass and woods fires across most of Georgia.
A Red Flag Warning has been issued for all of north Georgia and a number of counties in the central part of the state from 2:00 this afternoon until 7:00 tonight.
That's because of the low humidities and brisk winds which create ideal conditions for forest fires.
The National Weather Service calls it a "dangerous" situation.
Today's forecast calls for humidities of 18 to 25 precent and winds of 10 to 20 miles an hour.
