HOMER -- Harrison Dale threw three touchdown passes to lead Banks County to a 27-0 shutout of Union County in both teams' Region 8A-AA opener.
Dale connected twice with Marquaze Maddox on TD passes of 35 and 11 yards and once with Dylan Lackey on an 18-yard TD pass. Dale also had 53 yards rushing for the Leopards.
Lackey added 90 yards rushing, including an 8-yard touchdown run, and Jeremy Greenway had 55 yards rushing for the Leopards.
Banks County (4-1, 1-0 in subregion) held Union County (1-4, 0-1) to just 130 total yards of offense for the game.
The Leopards will hit the road for the next two weeks against Dawson County and Rabun County.
