OAKWOOD -- The Chestatee girls basketball team rebounded from its first loss of the New Year in emphatic fashion on Tuesday, defeating Johnson 55-25 on Tuesday in Oakwood.
Peyton Roberston dominated against the Lady Knights, scoring a game-high 29 points while pulling down five rebounds, as eight different Lady War Eagles players scored.
Chestatee (15-4, 6-1 Region 7A-AAA) led 12-6 after the first quarter and didn't allow Johnson to score in double digits in any quarter.
Chelsea Wilson also had seven points and five rebounds for the Lady War Eagles.
Chestaee travels to take on White County on Friday.
