Services Wednesday For Griffin Drug Store Owner

(Cleveland)-Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM  for the owner of a downtown Cleveland business Griffin Drug Company. Joe Whitaker, who was 59-year old, dies at his home Monday. Whitaker owned the downtown corner drug store for the past 17 years.

A store spokeswoman said Griffin Drug will be open Tuesday until 7:00 PM.  The store will be closed all day Wednesday.  The store will resume regular operating hours on Thursday.

Barrett Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
