Boys basketball: Lions chew up Tallulah Falls

GAINESVILLE - Lakview Academy ran its Region 8-A win streak eight after a 73-25 thumping of Tallulah Falls Saturday at the Lakeview gym.

Austin Pearson led Lakeview (9-7, 8-1 in region) with 14 points. Jackson Wells added 10 fo the Lions.

Lakeview next will travel to Hebron Christian on Tuesday in another 8-A matchup. Lakeview beat Hebron 102-51 early this season.

The Lions can put some distance between themselves and the rest of the region in the next week with games against Commerce and Athens Christian, who are second and third, respectively, in the region.

The Lions only region loss was to Athens Christian last month. They have yet to Commerce this season.
