AVONDALE - Jessica Ours and Constance Harrison each scored 10 points to lead Class AA No. 2 Buford to a 62-26 thumping of Avondale in girls Region 6-AA basketball action.
The Lady Wolves (14-1, 6-0 in region) never trailed and displayed its suffocating defense for a second consecutive game. Since giving up 56 in their only loss to Southwest DeKalb last week, the lady Wolves have allowed just 54 total points in their past two games.
Buford will travel to Class AAA West Forsyth Saturday. The Lady Wolves beat West Forsyth 72-41 in their season opener Dec. 1 at home.
