Portable pot grow room found in Winder apartment

WINDER - A 21-year-old Winder woman is in custody after authorities found a portable marijuana grow room in her apartment.

Authorities with the Winder Police Department said Hailey Michelle Manning's grow room inside of her Springdale Drive apartment consisted of 1,000-watt grow lights, a ventilation system, scales and an irrigation system.

Officials said Manning's charges include manufacturing marijuana and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.

Manning was arrested Monday.
