CLEVELAND - White County opened its Region 7A-AAA schedule witha big win over Creekview Saturday night at the White County gym.
Luke Crumley poured in 24 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the Warriors (5-5, 1-0 in subregion) to the win.
White County trailed early but used a 21-7 second quarter to grab the lead for good.
Ashely Lowery had 10 points for the Warriors, who travel to Chestatee on Tuesday for another subregion battle.
Duncan Jones led Creekview (7-6, 0-1) with 12 points. A.J. Johnson and Austin Younker each scored 11 points for the Grizzles.
