GAINESVILLE - A prayer vigil was held Tuesday night at the grave of Elaine Nix... on the tenth anniversary of the discovery of the Gainesville teen's body, nine days after she went missing.
Her killer or killers have never been identified.
Her nude body was found September 29, 1999, behind a building in northern Gwinnett County.
The last known contact with her was from a pay phone at a convenience store on Candler Road just south of Gainesville.
She was 17 at the time.
Tuesday night's vigil was held at Memorial Park Cemetery.
