ATHENS - Some parts of northeast Georgia are out of seasonal flu vaccine... specifically the health departments that are part of the Northeast Georgia Health District.
Lou Kudon tells Georgia News Network they started their seasonal flu vaccination effort early, so it wouldn't be happening at the same time as the H1N1 vaccination effort. Still, he says they have more seasonal vaccine coming.
Kudon notes that drugstores and doctors offices in the area still have vaccine available.
The Northeast Georgia Health District covers Jackson, Barrow, Clarke, Madison, Elbert, Greene, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Morgan and Walton counties, as well as some counties east of Athens.
