Volleyball: Johnson splits with Buford, Jackson County

OAKWOOD - Johnson split a pair of non-area matches Thursday in girls volleyball action at the Johnson gym.

In the first match, the Lady Knights lost to Buford 25-16, 25-21.

Jenna Stone paced Johnson with four kills and five digs and Stephanie Hulsey added five digs. Shelley Farley had 10 assists for the Lady Knights.

Johnson rebounded tn the second match taking a 25-11, 25-10 win over Jackson County in two straight games.

Caitlin Sloan had five kills and Farley added nine assists and six kills for the Lady Knights. Madison Ivey had three digs for Johnson.

The Lady Knights improved to 9-12 on the season. They next will play host to Lakeview Academy and Cedar Shoals on Monday.
