GAINESVILLE - The West Hall girls volleyball team swept a pair of Area 7-AAA matches Tuesday at the Chestatee High gym.
The lady Spartans knocked off host Chestatee 25-16, 25-15 in the first match and then held off Gainesville 25-18, 25-14 in the second match to complete the sweep.
The West Hall offense was led by Erica Grainger with 11 assists. Julie Walsh added 10 assists and Kristen Holmes 10 kills for the Lady Spartans.
The defense was led by Nicolette Ashley, who had seven digs.
West Hall next will play host to Apalachee and Lumpkin County on Thursday.
